I have to admit, I’m sooo ready to dive into a pumpkin pie!
Now that the younger kids are, well- just a year little older we plan on doing more this fall -well actually “I” since the ideas usually come from me and he just follows LOL. Reality is that going out with little ones can be challenging at times. Honestly there are times when I rather NOT go certain places because of it.
Our schedule has pretty much fallen back into place, excluding the last minute casting calls for Alexander. Kids are usually in bed by 8:00 pm, husband is usually working on emails while I enjoy the cool night with a book in hand. I’m actually reading a really good book (I’ll share that later).
I created a Bucket List this Fall as last year things didn’t go as planned. I’m all about planning, schedules, routine and I wanted to do so much more, which didn’t happen. This year I have 12 things in my bucket list as I want to be realistic this time around and not stress. Our schedules are busy and I want to keep things fun and simple for the kids as we also want them to embrace simplicity. I want them to learn and enjoy the little things that money can’t buy.
Here we go in no specific order…
1. Make a leaf craft
2. Roast Marshmallows
3. Visit a pumpkin patch
4. Eat Pumpkin Pie
5. Eat Candy Corn
6. Go Apple Picking
7. Jump in a Pile of Leaves
8. Bob for Apples
9. Play Hide and Seek with Glow sticks
10. Visit a Farm
11. Star Gaze
12. Family Photoshoot
Remember the most important thing is, have FUN and MAKE MEMORIES. Do what works for you and your family.
